Dr. Marcelle believes that dentistry should be a warm, friendly and fun experience for children and their parents. She takes the time to get to know each child and their family so she can deliver the individualized care they deserve. Prevention and education are her focus and she is determined to help every child have a positive experience with dentistry, which can lay the foundation for a lifetime of happy and healthy smiles!

 

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Marcelle attended CUNY Hunter College where she graduated as the Valedictorian of her class with a degree in Biology. She then received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania for Dental School and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Marcelle completed a general practice residency at Helen Hayes Hospital where she gained experience caring for individuals with medical complexities and special needs. Returning to New York City, Dr. Marcelle completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital.

 

Dr. Marcelle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an active member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Her commitment to continuing educations means that she is constantly evaluating emerging dental research in order to provide the best care for her patients. 

 

Dr. Marcelle resides on the Upper West Side with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
